🤔Did You Know?🤔

Did you know that there are a lot of things that you didn’t know?😂😂😂….. If you are interested in knowing some interesting stuff that you didn’t know, then this article is the one for you.👍 But I’m going to warn you, some of these will get pretty weird.😀 Click on ‘Read More’👇👇👇.

  1. Did you know? Speak these words aloud: GOOD EYE MIGHT. RISE UP LIGHTS. You just said “good’ day mate”, and “razor blades” with an Australian accent.😂
  1. Did you know? If you need to know the number of days in a month, count your knuckles. Using your left hand, start at your pinky with January and name of the months as you tap each knuckle (including the spaces in between. Months that land on a knuckle have 31 days, and months that fall on the spaces have 30 days or less. When you reach July, skip the thumb and continue to your right hand, or start over with August on the pinky of your left hand. 😱(amazing right?)😂
  1. Did you know? Playing Tetris after a traumatic event makes you calm down and it also helps eliminate the bad memories. Scientists studied this by taking in car crash survivors. The ones who played Tetris had 62% fewer bad memories than those who just wrote down what happened. 😳
  1. Did you know? President Theodore Roosevelt had Abraham Lincoln’s hair with him when he went into office. In 1905, Roosevelt wore a ring containing bits of Lincoln’s hair, which a doctor had cut from his head on the night of his assassination.😮(awkward)
  1. Did you know? It’s been estimated that there are more stars in the universe than there are grains of sand in the earth, but there are more atoms in one grain of sand than there are stars in the Universe.😵  (I know, confusing.)
  1. Did you know? Ouija Boards ‘work’ because of you. Combining the ideomotor effect, (where you sometimes move objects, or even yourself, without realizing it) and a strong need for answers creates a situation where people can be spelling out words while moving the planchette and still believe 100% that they are not the ones doing it.😐
  1. Did you know? There is a mysterious light hovering over Canada, and its name is… STEVE! Scientist aren’t really sure what causes “Steve”. Aurora Borealis named Steve after a scene in Over the Hedge, where the characters realize that if you don’t know what something is, you should call it Steve!😁
  1. Did you know? When you can’t sleep on your first night in a new place, your brain is trying to protect you. Most animals sleep with only half of their brain. It is called the “first night effect”. Our bodies put us in a strange half-asleep/half-awake state the first time we sleep in an unfamiliar place.😴

  1. Did you know? You an constantly see your own nose. Your brain just pretends it isn’t there so you won’t go insane while trying to focus on the important objects in your field of vision.👃

  1. If you convince yourself that you slept well last night, even if you didn’t, you can trick your brain into thinking you aren’t tired. It’s called ‘placebo sleep’. It makes you perform better during the day than when you are complaining about it all day.💆
