Germ Free

By: Donaven Jones

Since the weather is changing and it’s getting colder its time to bundle up! You need to start wearing thicker heavier clothes like coats, scarfs, gloves, hats and boots. This will help prevent the cold air from getting to your skin and pores. There are more than A million viruses that can cause you to become sick. With that said here are some ways to prevent catching a cold.

1.    Practice good hygiene-
o   Use hand-sanitizer after you touch a surface that has been touched by others.
o   Wash your hands with anti-bacterial soap and warm water for about 1 minute.
o   Use antiseptic wipes
2.    Stay current with your health-
o   Get a yearly Flu Shot
o   Visit your Doctor regularly
3.    Sharing is not Caring-
o   Don’t drink or eat after other people because they might be sick or pass along germs that could make you sick.
o   Stay away from people that you suspect to be sick.

Not getting sick is a top priority of mine and hopefully yours.  When someone coughs or sneezes and doesn’t cover I become instantly defensive.  There are plenty of other tips to keep from getting sick but these should get you off to a good start.  Thanks for reading and don't forget to comment below.
