What team wore black and gold, could bring home the “W”, and formed a family bond? The NorthWest girls soccer team that’s who.  They have formed  that bond with 2 losses,1 win, and 3 ties. They had a very successful season this year.

Some of the positions that they  have on the field are difficult but some  are harder than others. “I think the hardest position on the field is goalie because you are in charge of stopping the goals before they make it.” said Sabine Ramirez a student at Northwest Middle School. The goalie has the most important position on the field so they can keep the other team from scorinng.

Some players get nervous while others  get excited and angry before a game. Players  use  these emotions to better their play in a game. “Before a game I get excited and angry at the same time because I love playing soccer and I have to be angry so I can defend my goal.” Sabine said.

The NorthWest lady tigers have had a very successful season with more successful seasons to come in the future. All the Tigers here at NorthWest are so proud of the players on the team for the work they put in this season. The lady Tigers are proud to wear black and gold and play side by side not only with their teammates but with their family.
