Beasts of The Road

By: Brayan Aguilar

There are so many car companies and even more car models. Because of the car industry, many great cars have come to life, but there have also been terrible ones as well. In this list I will show my top 5 cars of all time.

5. 1969 SS Chevrolet Camaro:
The 1969 Camaro marked the last of the first generations and is arguably the most popular. The SS was “The One with a Name Like the Hiss of a Snake.”  Big power, special 3-speed transmission, sport striping, heavy insulated hood. It is one of the great classics and is by far one of many car models to succeed on making the list.

4.  Subaru BRZ:
There have been many models of this car and it was inspired by the 1967 2000GT a car model that was created in Japan. The development of these car models started around 2008. To this day these cars have been looking better and better.

3.  1964 Ford Mustang:
The original Ford Mustang debuted on April 17, 1964 at a price of $2,368 – a bargain even at that time. Ford expected annual sales of about 100,000 units, but 22,000 Mustang orders were taken on the first day, and sales reached an astounding 417,000 in the car’s first 12 months on the market. Ford’s new Mustang was on the racetrack as the pace car for the 1964 Indianapolis 500 race. This car was one of Ford's greatest success helping the company grow bigger and bigger.
2.  2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat:
Dodge President and CEO, says this version of Challenger gets to 60 mph in about 3.5 seconds and can attain a top speed of 199 mph. Drive this car hard lap after lap, and it consumes 1.5 gallons of gas per mile traveled. It is also claimed the Challenger Hellcat is "America's most powerful muscle car ever. "How can anyone say no to this car.
1.  1969 Pontiac GTO:
This is personally my favorite car and I would love to own this car when I'm older. This car is one of what many muscle car experts say last muscle cars of the Golden age of Muscle cars, for in 1969 that was the final year of the Golden age. Also to note, the 1969 GTO “The Judge” convertible with the Ram Air IV was the most rare, having only five produced. This classic today costs up to 50 to 60 grand, a price I would pay to own this majestic beast.

These are some of the best cars.  Some are classics and some are modern, but all are beasts of the road that destroys the rest of the competition.
