Neymar’s Life Story

Do you know who Neymar is? If you don’t then you’ve been living under a rock. He is one of the youngest and most talented fútbol players in the world!

Neymar da Silva Santos Junior was born on February 5, 1992. He was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Growing up, Neymar was very poor. He was discovered by the Manager of Santos FC, a fútbol team from Brazil, when he was playing fútbol on the beach. He later joined at the Santos Youth Program at the age of 14. Neymar stayed at Santos until 2013 when he was offered a contract with FC Barcelona. Although he stayed at Santos for many years, many other big teams (including Real Madrid twice) offered him a contract.

In his total career, Neymar has won 13 titles/championships. Also, he has won many individual awards such as top scorer of Liga Libertadores and Player of the Year. Also, he has achieved one of his biggest goals in life, winning a gold medal for Brazil’s fútbol team. He was so proud of himself because he wanted to make his country proud. Thanks to him, Brazil has won many titles.

Although he is not married, Neymar da Silva Junior currently has a son named Davi Lucca da Silva Santos. Davi Lucca is currently 5 years old. Neymar and his son, Davi Lucca, are very close but not always able to be around each other because of his schedule. Even though Neymar is not always home due to games and practices, he tries to spend as much time with him. In my opinion, Neymar is a great soccer player and father.

Neymar is a very talented person that will achieve much more in the future. Thanks to him and others, FC Barcelona is an amazing team.
