Maru is a perk-ear Scottish fold cat. He´s a famous furry fella on the internet. He also became a meme on the internet and he has appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and many more in the U.S and other more countries. Maru was 4 months old when he was introduces to his owner. He was a pudgy cat. Maru means round in Japanese. The owners didn't pick that name from his size, they wanted that name before they even chose the cat.
Maru has had love for boxes since he was a kitten. He used them as beds and played with them. He loves attention so he basically does silly stuff! In November his owner decided to make a blogging page to share all the characteristics that Maru has! He also made a YouTube channel and They have 560k subscribers. They have a total of 339,124,201 Views. They won a Guinness World Record for having ¨The Most Watched Animal On YouTube!¨
