Have you ever wondered what are some foreign delicious food? Many of our foods that we eat in America come from other cultures. Some in which are traditional plates for certain cultures.

Mole

Mole is a mexican dish that is made as a dinner or for a special occasion. It is a chicken breast covered with a combination of chile peppers & Chocolate. The Chocolate helps give the sauce its dark color, & the taste is mainly of chili peppers and its other ingredients & not of chocolate. There are many varieties of Mole, the most common being Mole Poblano. Most people serve it with a side of rice.

Massaman Curry

Massaman Curry is a type of Curry that originated in Thailand. Its main ingredients are a type of meat (Beef,Chicken,Tofo,etc.) Coconut milk, Onion, Peanuts or cashews, bay leaves, cardamom pods, star anise palm sauce,Fish sauce, potatoes, cinnamon, chili and tamarind sauce.

Tom Yum

Tom Yum , also called Tom Yam is a Thai soup served hot. Its place of origin is Laos & Central Thailand. Its main ingredients are Stock, Kaffir lime leaves, fish sauce, chili peppers, Lemon grass, lime juice & galangal. “Tom” means the boiling process and “Yam” refers to Thai Spicy & Sour Salad.

Chicken Parmigiana

Chicken Parmigiana , also know as Chicken Parmesan and Chicken Parm, is a delicious oven baked Italian-American dish. It is breaded chicken breast topped with Tomato Sauce and cheese(Parmesan, Provolone or Mozzarella). Chicken Parmigiana can also have a slice of ham or bacon added. This dish can served with a side of spaghetti or pasta.

Churros

Churros are a fried-dough pastry served hot that can be eaten as a snack, or during any time of the day(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner). Churros are fried until they become crunchy, then they are sprinkled with sugar. Churros are usually sold by street vendors who prepare them fresh & hot.
