Have you ever read a story that inspired you to write your own? Or have you ever read a story so awful or bad that you said, “Ha, I can write a better story than that.” Well that’s exactly what I’m talking about; how to write or create a great story.
So if you want to write a great story or even create a good one, first thing, make sure your title goes with the story. Be creative, and use your imagination. Then, you have to make sure that you stay on topic and use detail in your story. Always know what you want to start with and also make sure that your story makes sense and that it has correct grammar, if you really want it to get approved. Always know whether you want your story to be in first, second or third person. Also, plan out who you want for your main character to be, or characters, and make sure they have good characteristics and always have their names right in your head. After you have completed that, then it’s time to move on to the next step.
So before you even think about actually writing (or printing in any case), always know that there are other things you have to keep in mind. Make sure your story has a setting, but also a time, place and a date. Like, say for instance, a party, park, school during February or August in the year of 1987. Now, if you are going to write a story, you have to include something really important: the Climax. You need a climax to make sure your story or stories, are in place and not all over the place. The main thing you want to start with is the exposition. You need the exposition to start off your story, to show how it all began. Then you want to go on to the rising action. That’s where everything gets better. The story starts to rise like the great sun. Then on your way to the top, you get the climax, which is always people's favorite part of the story, since it’s the part all the action comes to play in on the story. But then it get’s even better when you add the action.
What is the last thing that happens before any movie, show, or book even ends? Well, a very creative conclusion, of course! After you’ve completed the book, read it over and make sure you have no mistakes. If you’re going to add a cover, make it creative, with colors. Make the cover image awesome! Also, make sure to add the illistrighter (if there is one) and the author. Pictures will add a special touch too. You don’t have to add pictures, but pictures are something that really stand out in a book. The pictures make the reader feel as if he/she is right there in the story. If your are going to make a series of books, or maybe just one book, make it a great experience for the readers. Be creative and keep in mind that your story can be about anything. And that’s how you can create and write a good story. So go out there and be inspired, go live out your dreams and I hope you enjoyed! I’ll see you guys next time!
