What would you do if someone stole your idea and made millions off of it? Would you get them back or just let it go? This article will show you Unicorns, Lawsuits, and drama, all because of this million dollar drink.
A Brooklyn cafe called ‘The End’, claims that Starbucks stole their drink which was called the ‘Unicorn Latte’. The End’s form of the drink contains “cold-pressed ginger, lemon juice, dates, cashews, blended with additional healthy, dried ingredients such as maca root, blue-green algae, and vanilla bean.”, the lawsuit stated. Starbucks’ recipe contains “a concoction of milk, artificial sweeteners, color additives, and pinches of fruit juice concentrate for flavor.” The drinks may not be similar in taste, but they are in orientation. Both variations of pink and blue that change color as you mix them.
‘The End” filed a trademark infringement lawsuit for $10 million. A trademark infringement suit is suing someone for using something without authorization which can cause deception or confusion from users and customers. The End’s lawsuit claims that Starbucks is getting all the shine for a product they do not own, and that Starbucks is causing confusion from people who are common at The End. Starbucks’ frappuccino was very popular on social media, especially Instagram with several hearts. Despite how many hearts it gets for orientation, many people said it tastes bad, commonly likening it to “sour milk.”
There is not much more information about the lawsuit. But despite that, people are still raving about the Unicorn Frappe and the lawsuit against Starbucks. Do you believe there is a possibility that the Unicorn Frappe was stolen, or is it just a coincidence?
