Old School Video Games

Video games have been around roughly since the 1970’s. People love them. The first video game created was Pong.  Now let me show you about the greatest video game era the 1990’s.  

Disclaimer the rankings below reflect my beliefs.

8. Pokemon yellow also known as Pikachu edition is a third person role playing video game.  It was published September 12 1998 developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy handheld video game console.

7.  Banjo Kazooie was released on June 29, 1998 it a video game comprised of a honey bear (banjo) and a big red bird known as a a breegull (Kazooie) which is a fictional species of birds.  And they set out to stop the evil plans of a evil witch Gruntilda, who plans to switch her beauty with Banjo's sister Tooty.

6.  Super Mario world is a video game released for the Super NES on August 13, 1991. The game center on the quest of Mario and Luigi to save Dinosaur Land from Bowser, the series' Two main roles.  The two brothers must travel across seven worlds to restore peace and order to the land of dinosaurs.

5. Donkey Kong Gameboy is aplatform game developed in 1994 by Nintendo for the Game Boy handheld video game system, which also contains puzzle elements. Donkey Kong is loosely based on the 1981 arcade game of the same name and its sequel Donkey Kong Jr.

4. Final Fantasy VII is a role-playing video game developed and published by Square for the PlayStation platforms. It was directed by Yoshinori Kitase, written by Kazushige Nojima and Kitase, and produced by Hironobu Sakaguchi. The game was released on January 31, 1997 for the Playstaion and Microsoft Windows.

3.  Mortal Kombat is an arcade fighting game developed and published by midway games.  Mortal Kombat came out in August 1992 and was built for the PS2, the original Xbox one, Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo entertainment system and many more console.

2. Street Fighter II is a game created by Capcom studio’s and developed by Akira Yasuda and Akira Nishitani it was released for Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Xbox, Xbox 360, PlayStation, Sega Genesis, PlayStation 2 and many more in February 1991.

1.  Mario kart 64 is a racing game comprised of roles from the past more games.  As you play the game you can play in different game modes like grand prix, time trial, versus, and battle mode. Mario kart was released on December 19 1996.
