Behind The Shine...What Are They Hiding?

There are a lot of cities that advertise themselves as this perfect place to  visit or move from another town and live. But  a lot of the time , there are a lot of bad things that happen behind their shine. Haven’t you ever wondered what really happens? Below is a list of  the top 3 worst cities in the U.S.

Little Rock, ARK

Although this city is  known for some good things, such as being known as the cleanest city in the country, it has some issues too. 9,500 crimes are committed for every 100,000 people. Another problem is it’s hard for people to sell property for a good price. Property values go down as crime rates go up. For every 100,000 people, 8,000 property crimes are committed. Also people face a one in 24 chances of one person being a victim. Little Rock has the 3rd highest crime rate in america. There is also a lot of gang violence.

Baltimore:

Baltimore once had a good reputation, but recently it hasn’t been so good for them. Baltimore set a record for the most people murdered in a month in the last 25 years. In the same period of time, in more than 32 cities , shootings occurred. The city logged about 144 murders in the first 6 months of 2015. The homicide total raised to 185 for the year 2013. You might think police are here to protect you, but that might not be the case if they don’t even respond. Police responses dropped from 2,677 in april to 1,531 in may. Rioting is a big thing in Baltimore. Baltimore has to pay $20 million in damages from rioting. They also have a really bad drug use and drug dealing problem. July 2015 was one of the deadliest months since 1972.

St.Louis

I think St.Louis is one of the most well known cities in America. They’re mostly known for their main attractions the St. Louis Arch, Six Flags, and Sweetie Pies. But that doesn’t mean it’s perfect. St. Louis holds the title for the fifth most dangerous city in the U.S. Their top most common crimes are rape , robbery , assault, and murder. These types of things are not just bad for the adults , it’s also bad for the children. The schools in St. Louis often achieve well below standards.

Overall it might be said, that these cities advertise themselves as a vacation destination or a place to raise a family. But once you know what's really going on you might think twice about going to these cities.
