Producer and MC J.Cole was the first artist signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label. He has songs and albums of his own that bring so much meaning into the world that everyone loves. Although when he started all he had was a big dream, this big dream took him to the top of the billboard 200.

When Cole was little he lived with his two parents in North Carolina and his whole life growing up there is what he talks about in his songs, According to Ibette Bautista a student at Northwest Middle School “Some of his songs talk about his own life, or true meanings.” Many people find Cole inspiring for the work that he does and the art he puts out into the world. “Yes I do find him inspiring because a lot of people think the world is full of bad people when they really don’t know their past,” Ibette said. Cole has put every detail about his past through music.

Jermaine Lamarr Cole stood outside Jay-Z’s office for days just hoping that he can hand him his demo, and he finally ran into his idol and that’s when he got a call being asked to be the first artist signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label. After that amazing opportunity J.Cole released his own debut “Cole World: The Sideline Story,” this album talks about leaping from the sideline to the spotlight against all odds. Since the release of his first album cole has had more albums and he definitely will have more to come. J.Cole is a very confident man that inspired many people and he will continue to inspire people and give them what they love, music.
