El Clasico is the name given in futbol when two fierce rivals, such as Barcelona and Real Madrid have a match. El Clásico a few years ago attracted about 400 million viewers, but last year’s Clásico attracted about 1 billion people WORLDWIDE! Out of the 4 most recent Clásico matches Barcelona won 3 of them and Real Madrid only won 1 of them. In the El Clásico on  July 29, 2017, Barcelona won 3-2. Lionel Messi, Ivan Rakitic, and Gerard Piqué scored the 3 winning goals. Marco Asensio and Mateo Kovacic scored the 2 goals for Real Madrid. The El Clásico of August 13, 2017, saw Real Madrid beat Barcelona 3-1. Gerard Pique scored a goal on his own team, Cristiano Ronaldo (scored 2 of the goals), and Marco Asensio scored the 3rd goal. Lionel Messi scored the goal for Barcelona. In the Clásico on August 16, 2017, Real Madrid won 2-0. Marco Asensio and Karim Benzema scored the 2 winning goals. The last Clásico of 2017 was on December 23, 2017, Barcelona beat Real Madrid 3-0. Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi, and Aleix Vidal scored the 3 winning goals.
