A total of 9,425 movies came out in 2014. This
number includes movies in theaters and Netflix movies. Here are my top ten
movies that are now available for purchase from 2014.
No spoilers included.

The Fault in Our Stars- This movie is
about a girl named Hazel who has cancer and is depressed. Until she meets
Augustus Waters. (5 Paws)
2.
The Maze Runner- One day Thomas wakes up
in a place called The Glade in the middle of a maze, but he can’t remember
where he came from or who he is. (4 Paws)
3.
X-Men Days of Future Past- In this
current X-Men movie installment the sentinels are hunting mutants into
extinction. Logan has to take a trip into the past to stop it all from
happening. (3 Paws)
4.
Divergent- Beatrice Prior lives in a
dystopian future where everyone is spilt into five factions. She chooses the
most fun and dangerous faction. But, something isn’t right. (4 Paws)
5.
Maleficent- The story of sleeping
beauty, unanimated. It’s in the villain’s POV (point of view). (5 Paws)
6.
If I Stay- Mia is a cello player who gets
in a car wreck that kills her mom, dad, and little brother. She has to decide if
she wants to live or die. (4Paws)
7.
The Purge: Anarchy- It’s the year 2020
and the annual purge is a day when all crime is legal, including murder. (3
Paws)
8.
Transformers: Age of Extinction- The
transformers are being hunted down and killed. Now, they are in hiding trying
to stay alive and find out what the government is doing. (3 Paws)
9.
Mockingjay Part 1- Katniss is in
district 13. She decided to be their mockingjay and rile the districts. (4
Paws)
10. The Hobbit:
Battle of the Five Armies- Bilbo and the dwarves are at the lonely mountain
with Thorin who is obsessed with finding the Arkenstone. Bard the Bowman breaks
out of prison and defeats the dragon smaug with the black arrow. Meanwhile
Legolas and Tauriel investigate Mt. Gundabad. This movie rotates between
characters throughout the movie. (4 Paws)
I have seen all of
these movies. The movies are a mix of action, drama, adventure, fantasy, and
