Have you ever broken a law? Well if you haven't then you should know that there are some pretty weird laws out there that could catch anyone up who doesn’t know. Click ‘Read More’ to find out about some of the weirdest things ever banned.
1. Baby Walkers-
Baby walkers have been banned in Canada since 2004. There, kids have to learn how to walk the old fashioned way. They were banned because they seem to delay the mental development of kids. Nowadays, if you use a baby walker in Canada, you either get sued $100,000 or you get 6 months in jail.
2. Ketchup In School Cafeterias-
In 2011 France banned ketchup in the school cafeterias. The only reason they did this was to preserve the French cuisine. The only weird thing is that the kids can still use it for their french fries.
3. Sunday laws in Ohio-
In Ohio there are many weird laws first is you cannot get arrested on a Sunday. Second you can't fish for whales on a Sunday. Third women are prohibited from wearing patent leather shoes in public. These are only a few of the weird Ohio laws but I could only imagine what else they have to endure.
4. You need apple pie and ice cream together-
In Vermont 1999 they said you needed apple pie with ice cream or cheddar cheese and milk. But you can't call it a law since you don't get punished if you don't do it But they do advise it.
5. Memes-
Yes memes were banned in Australia because of the copyright rules. They made it illegal to create or even share memes. Section 132A part 2 of the Copyright Act says, “distributing an info article that prejudicially affects the copyright owner” is against the law.
You need to know these things because the last thing you want is to go to California and get sued or go to jail for using a plastic bag which is actually illegal there. What’s the weirdest law you’ve ever heard? Comment below!
Thats some crazy stuff right there ...
