There were 446
players in the NBA last year, but only a select few made my top 10 of the
2015-2016 NBA season.
James Harden is an elite shooter and finisher, and since he won the 6th Man of the Year award in 2012 and since then he has skyrocketed into arguably the best shooting guard in the league. Harden also is a 3x NBA all-star and 2x Olympic gold medalist. Harden also just signed a $200 million contract with Adidas.
Chris
Paul is a great leader and passer who can score at times when he needs to.
Also, Chris Paul led the NBA in assists 4 times and steals 6 times.
Blake
Griffin is an exceptional athlete and an electrifying dunker. He also possesses
the ability to work in the post and has a reliable jump shot. He is averaging
24 points and 9 rebounds this season.
Boogie
is a marvelous face-up center who has good footwork and decent
passing and shooting skills. Boogie was voted to the NBA All-Star game
last year and is averaging 25 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists.
Kawhi Leonard is an outstanding player with tremendous athleticism and excellent defense. In fact, he won the 2015 NBA Finals MVP for his superb defense on LeBron James.
Russell could have made a case for a top 5 spot, but he lacks the shooting skills. He is a prolific scorer and an admirable leader. During the 2014-2015 season he recorded 11 triple-doubles.
Anthony
Davis is one of the best big men in the NBA and is also a fantastic defender
and was the league leader in blocks twice. He also is an NCAA Champion at
Kentucky.
Kevin
Durant aka KD is a great shooter who provides immediate scoring and has
excellent playmaking skills. He is a 4x NBA scoring champ and is one of six
players ever to average 50 percent on field goals, 40 percent on 3's, and
90 percent on free throws. He was also the MVP of the 2014-2015 NBA season.
Steph
is an all-around phenomenal basketball player who excels in all facets of
his game. He is also the reigning MVP and he led the Golden State Warriors to
an NBA title last season. Curry also set a new league record for most single
postseason 3 pointers.
LeBron
aka King James is an unstoppable athlete who won back to back NBA championships
in 2012 and 2013 and went to 5 straight NBA Finals. He is the Cavs
all-time leading scorer has 4 MVPS, 2 Finals MVP's and 11 all-star
appearances in his 12 NBA seasons.
This is my
opinion on who are the top 10 in the NBA today and there are multiple people
who could have made the list. Here are some honorable mentions: Kyrie Irving,
Paul George, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.
good!
